MPRE 197.

MPRE 197. I gave 1 unit, I may need to reduce again, but I need to figure out if the high values are insulin or infection related and I do not want to waste time.
I am considering all possibilities for the incontinence. The reasons I suspect it is something acute:
Diabetic cats are prone to bladder infections
CNI cats are prone to bladder infections
Asia is just getting over a kidney infection and has had a few bladder infections in the past 18 months
Something is not right with her currently, I just do not know exactly the cause
She had elevated white blood cells (WBC) in her urine
The last time she had a confirmed and very severe bladder infection, she urinated on herself several times
Asia has had very infrequent pee in her sleep instances, she just started doing this almost daily. It makes me suspect something acute as there are no other suspects that fit in with the timeline. Her arthritis is bad but stable for months, it has not declined recently. If anything, her arthritis has improved slightly. She will pee in the litter box if she is awake and will wake up to pee most of the time.
With her kidney infection, the antibiotics took a little over a week to start working. I hope this is an early catch and antibiotics will work sooner than that. Regardless, something should be understood in the next few days.
